Founded in the late 1970s by a pair of college friends, Toshe Marinos and Jasper Taylor, the management of the company passed exclusively to Dr. Marinos upon the mysterious disappearance of Dr. Taylor in 1985.

The company is a leader in consumer technology, medical and bio-technology, and military technology applications.

Also a pioneer in artificial intelligence, the day-to-day operations of the company are run by a sentient computer program called PAROMA (which stands for Paralux Operations Matrix).
